About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Summary The Registered Nurse / RN for Surgical Unit Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients’ needs with the nurse’ competencies. The Registered Nurse / RN Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse / RN
BLS required –Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Nice To Haves

Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree)
2 years in acute care for Med/Surg as Registered Nurse / RN
