About The Position

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, implementing care plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and socioeconomic needs. This role emphasizes collaboration with patients and families, ensuring their participation in care decisions, and adhering to professional nursing standards and practices.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Diploma in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a related area required, or no experience required with preferred education.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families.
• Implement a plan of care based on patient assessments and physician orders.
• Support the mission and values of the organization in patient care services.
• Incorporate ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice in daily activities.
• Adhere to the North Carolina Board of Nursing Practice Act.
• Utilize WakeMed's Patient & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model in nursing practice.
