Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor assists in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan.
The Registered Nurse Supervisor assists in coordinating and supervising all services on assigned units to achieve a comfortable and homelike atmosphere for the residents.
The RN Supervisor regularly rounds on nursing units checking in with residents and staff.
The Registered Nurse Supervisor assists in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life. Provide support and direction for nurses.
The RN Supervisor monitors and assures that incidents, accidents and resident/staff complaints are reported and documented correctly.
The RN Supervisor prepares/administers performance reviews for shift staff in consultation with unit managers; provide correction/re-education to shift staff as needed.
