St. Mary's Hospital is looking for a PRN nurse (minimum 36 hours per 6 week schedule) who must be able to do either days or nights, with one weekend shift per schedule period, and one summer and one winter holiday. The position involves supervising the clinical and administrative functions of the Hospital through proven management skills during designated tour of duty. The role provides leadership and direction to nursing staff, collaborates with physicians and other departments throughout the Hospital, and the community in problem solving and resolution. It combines clinical skills, and organizational and administrative abilities to provide quality patient care through innovation.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
• Must be licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in the State of Virginia.
• Should have 3-5 years recent clinical experience including work experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be CPR BLS certified and able to perform both adult and child CPR in any setting throughout the hospital.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required, but can be obtained through the hospital.

Responsibilities
