Department: 34027 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Nursing Quality and Practice Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday - Friday, No Holidays Coaches' and mentors' nursing leaders, nurses, and other interprofessional team members to close individual gaps of nursing and nursing leaders, with a focus on professional standards and patient experience dedicating 60% of their role responsibilities to intentional rounding Provides leadership and expertise related to the area of expertise Conducts environmental scanning of the organizational culture that drives patient engagement; reviews all relevant data on a regular cadence, critically analyzes and synthesizes the data, developing appropriate action plans to continue to approve and meet target and stretch goals Identifies gaps in knowledge, skill, and practice related to cultivating meaningful relationships that drive engagement Implements evidence-based nursing interventions, best practice guidelines, research, modifications of professional standards and organizational policies which direct the care of nursing staff and other providers to optimize patient and team engagement while using an iterative process to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies aimed at improving engagement Coordinates, implements, and evaluates orientation/onboarding, at-the-elbow coaching, just in time training, and continuing education programs Plans, implements, and evaluates activities focused on engagement of patients, families, and staff Leads the organization in conjunction with the nursing excellence team, leads the hospital wide patient experience committee, facilitates sync huddle rounds, anticipates patient needs, uses creative problem solving to prevent customer decline and mitigates service recovery Fosters, maintains, and creates a harmonious workplace Pay Range $41.10 - $61.65
