Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year as a staff nurse in acute care hospital.

Nice To Haves

• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
• Communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Registered Nurses in the non-critical Float Pool will be assigned as needed to the following departments Medsurg, Geropsych, and Telemetry.

• The current compensation range for this role is $53.44 to $71.84
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
