Registered Nurse/RN II – NICU Part Time Nights Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Part Time, 24 hours weekly, (2) 12-hour Night shifts, including weekends and holidays Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire NICU Department Highlights: Supportive team environment and family atmosphere. Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma required or
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of Neonatal ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required upon hire and maintained quarterly and
  • NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and
  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program required within 90 days of hire and
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Neonatal ICU experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
