About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a NICU Transport RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is your opportunity to do the work you love in the beautiful Coulee region. The position is 0.9 FTE, which equates to 72 hours every two weeks, with a 12-hour Day/Night rotation and every 3rd weekend. The role includes rotating holiday coverage and occasional on-call coverage for evenings and nights. The transport nurse will provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants during transport, utilizing expanded critical care nursing skills to recognize and intervene in life-threatening emergencies. You will work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, social workers, chaplains, and families.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years NICU Transport RN experience.
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire.
• RN licensure to practice in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
• BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants during transport.
• Utilize expanded critical care nursing skills to recognize and intervene in life-threatening emergencies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and families.
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage and occasional on-call coverage.
