About The Position

Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Critical Care setting are incredibly important members of the medical team who have the humbling task of caring for our sickest and most vulnerable patients. RNs not only provide high-quality medical care, but they also provide a healing touch and a compassionate presence to patients and their families during joyful, stressful and uncertain times. Position Specifics: Department: Neonatal ICU (NICU) or Women and Infants (Labor & Delivery) Core Function: Nursing Schedule: Full-time, 36 hrs/wk, Nights 7p-7a; and every third weekend Facility: St. Vincent’s Hospital Location: Green Bay, WI Sign On: Up to $10,000 (must have 2 years of NICU or W&I experience) Compensation that aligns with your experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required based on the patient population.
  • Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of science in nursing.
  • Specialty certifications such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in the NICU or Labor & Delivery.
  • Offer compassionate support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
