About The Position

At Saint Francis Hospital, the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy. In this critical Registered Nurse RN role, you will monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status, assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment and supporting and encouraging rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• BSN graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status.
• Assist with hyperacute and acute treatment.
• Support and encourage rehabilitation.
