Registered Nurse (RN) - Neurology unit - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital Full-Time Night shift. Hours: 7p-7:30a 3 days per week including weekend commitment -Work only 3 weekend shifts (ex: 1 Sat, 2 Sun) per 6 week time block Self Scheduling model! Will consider new RN Grads! Requirements

New York State RN License.
Associates Degree in Nursing.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Responsibilities

Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.
Will be trained to perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions.
Will be trained specifically on IVs, Blood Transfusions, Wound Vacs, Peritoneal Dialysis, Prosthetic Training.
