Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Telemetry Full Time Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road TX 75093-7914 Work hours: Full-time |36 Hours / Week | Days shift | 7am – 7pm Neuro Telemetry Department highlights: · 25 Bed unit that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Nurses improve quality of care for neuro tele patients such as scoliosis, post neuro surgeries, and stroke with multiple comorbidities. · Fast-Paced, high-volume department · The professional nurse exhibits an understanding of basic human needs. · The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of the patient’s affiliations. Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
- One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support and ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support and CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 60 Days Req
- RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care

Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.
