The Johns Hopkins Hospital Neuro-Interventional Radiology Lab features 2 specialized procedural rooms, supporting approximately 10 cases daily. Radiology Nurses provide comprehensive care to both inpatients and outpatients across the lifespan undergoing neuro-imaging and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, IV starts, central line access, procedural sedation, general anesthesia support, emergency management, and ensuring a safe procedural environment. Nurses play a key role in intra-procedural clinical management and patient preparation, promoting optimal outcomes in this highly specialized setting.

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing required
Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
BLS CPR certification required
RN experience required
Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
