Eligible for $7,500 sign on bonus, half paid at 6 months and the other half paid after one year of employment if experienced. Requirements

  • Passion for the Neuro ICU / Neuro Step-Down
  • 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a Critical Care (Neuro ICU, CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.) or step-down unit
  • Cardiac and invasive monitoring knowledge and arrhythmia interpretation skills required
  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
  • Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

Nice To Haves

  • Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for interventional, stroke, and neuro-surgical patients.
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.
