Requirements

• A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment).
• A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board.
• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience is strongly preferred; new graduates with focused practicum or technician experience in Women's and Children's Services will be considered.
• Healthcare Provider-Level CPR (BLS) certification, and NRP is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform clinical care in a family centered environment.
• Provide evidence-based, high quality care to mothers and newborns, with couplet care and newborn nursery care supported.
• Serve as a resource for other team members.
