About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care in alignment with professional nursing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby nursing experience
• Must have experience caring for newborns
• BSN
• NRP
• ACLS
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring / RELIAS
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP
• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments
• Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
• Manage and coordinate patient care
• Document care in accordance with standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
• Advocate for evidence-based practice standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery
• Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models
• Perform other duties as assigned
