About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery unit. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and laboring patients, ensuring safe outcomes through clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate support.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Jersey or compact, as applicable)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in Mother Baby or Labor & Delivery
• BLS required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and a 12-hour schedule

Nice To Haves

• ACLS and NRP preferred (based on unit requirements)

Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum care to mothers and routine care to newborns
• Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs and recovery progress
• Educate patients and families on newborn care, feeding, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
• Monitor fetal heart tracings and maternal status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with protocols
• Support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
