About The Position

RN - Mobile Director of Nursing - Long Term Care CommuniCare Health Services owns and operates over 130 facilities in 6 states. CommuniCare is currently recruiting an experienced DON to assume the role of Mobile Director of Nursing for CommuniCare facilities in Ohio. The Mobile DON will be required to travel regularly throughout the state of Ohio to the various facilities as needed. Mileage reimbursement and hotels are covered as needed. Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio
• Minimum of 2+ years experience as DON
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to multi-task and oversees functions at multiple facilities
• Ability to travel, sometimes for an extended time, to facilities within the region, as needed.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• The ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues
• Must maintain current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Evaluate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and care
• Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audit, and training
• Train new nursing management
• Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys
• Aid in Plan of Correction process
