About The Position

Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. #READ The Reading Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and has a rapidly expanding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgical Programs. Experience working with a variety of different, complex patient populations including Multi-System Organ Dysfunction, Cardiac Arrest, including Therapeutic Temperature Management, Critical Condition(s) with Underlying Psychiatric Component, Respiratory Failure, Hepato-Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Failure requiring Renal Replacement Therapy, CVA w/ post-thrombolytic therapy and/or mechanical thrombectomy. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
PA Registered Nurse License
Must have previous RN experience
