MidState Medical Center is actively hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Telemetry/Stroke Unit. Our Telemetry/Stroke Unit Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Telemetry/Stroke Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply. MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Requirements

  • Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
