This role offers a balanced patient load, supportive team structure, and exposure to neurological patient populations in an acute care setting. POSITION OVERVIEW The Med Tele Neuro RN provides patient-centered care to individuals with neurological and medical conditions requiring telemetry monitoring. This role includes assessment, care planning, intervention, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required
- Active Florida RN license or compact license required
- Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
- BLS certification required
- ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a telemetry setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions and telemetry data
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
