About The Position

At Mercy Medical Center the Med/Surg Unit provides quality care primarily for adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Coordinating healthcare plans with the team, administering medications, as well as educating patients on their surgical procedures. Our work ethic is the cornerstone of all we do at Mercy Hospital. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and managing nursing care plans.
• Participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.
