The Med/Surg Unit at Bluegrass Community Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to acute care and swing bed patients. This 16-bed unit operates within a critical access hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support. You’ll make an impact by assessing the patient’s condition and nursing care needs to create a specialized plan of care. You will collaborate with physicians and provide patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to conditions. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

  • current state RN license
  • possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
