The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines. Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hire
  • One (1) year of acute care experience

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Two (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experience
  • Med/Surg certification
