 Department/Unit Summary

The RN - Med/Surg coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in
patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a
team with ancillary and non-nursing departments. Provides direct patient care to
patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and
standards of practice.

Requirements

• current state RN license
• BLS, ACLS
• bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience preferred
