As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Where You Will Work: 4 East Medical Surgical is an 18 bed unit that cares for a vast variety of medical and post-operative patient with an emphasis on observation status. Observation patients generally stay on the unit 24-48 hours. Common diagnoses included but are not limited to: chest pain, abdominal pain, back pain, migraine/headache, allergic conditions, asthma, COPD, DVT/VTE, syncope, skin and soft tissue infection, dehydration, electrolyte abnormalities, hypo/hyperglycemia, routine post-op patients, and renal colic.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
