Requirements

Active Florida RN license or valid compact RN license (Florida license required within 90 days of hire)
Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Acute care hospital experience required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (American Heart Association)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult Med-Surg patients
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient care
Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and service excellence
