About The Position

A leading 290-bed acute care hospital and designated Level II Trauma Center in the Hudson area is seeking experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses to join its high-performing clinical team. This facility has been a cornerstone of the community since 1981 and is recognized for excellence in cardiac care and advanced acute services.

Requirements

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Licensure: Active RN license (Florida or Compact; Florida required within 90 days of hire if applicable)
• Experience: Acute care hospital experience required
• Candidates with exclusively LTAC experience will not be considered
• Certification: Current AHA BLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire) or obtained within 30 days of hire
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and computer proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for a diverse Medical/Surgical patient population in a fast-paced trauma setting
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
