About The Position

Havasu Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical unit. This full-time position offers a competitive bonus of up to $25,000. The role involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am. Havasu Regional Medical Center is a 171-bed hospital that provides a wide range of services across major medical disciplines, supported by a medical staff of over 33 affiliated physicians with expertise in 31 medical specialties. Located in Lake Havasu City, known for its outdoor recreational opportunities and beautiful natural surroundings, this position offers a chance to work in a community that many come to vacation in.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing Required.
• Active Arizona RN License.
• BCLS required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes a plan of care appropriate to identified problems, involving the patient according to their capabilities and desires.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
