Requirements
- Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain FL license within 90 days of hire).
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS American Heart Association) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (no recent LTACH experience).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends .
- Onsite interviews required prior to offer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in a hospital medical-surgical unit or telemetry environment.
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS or NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Document patient information accurately, including test results and progress notes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions, report changes, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with clinical protocols.
