Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit. Shift: - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. Unit Description: This is a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit where we care for patients on telemetry monitoring. The patients are here to determine the next step needed in their care - which may be a cardiac cath, transfer to the heart hospital for surgery on their heart, or having a diagnostic test such as a stress test or echocardiogram. Requirements

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
  • RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
