About The Position
Harborview Medical Center's (HMC) Edward Thomas House Medical Respite at Jefferson Terrace has an outstanding opportunity for part-time Registered Nurse (RN). This position is part-time at 60% FTE, requiring 24 hours per week on the night shift from 2300 to 0730, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Edward Thomas House Medical Respite is a collaborative project among six area hospitals and Health Care for the Homeless Network, providing nursing care 16 hours per day and non-clinical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Nurses will provide up to twice daily care for acute issues, IV infusion, and complicated wound care. Mental health clinicians will complete psychosocial screenings to assess housing, mental health, and funding needs. This is a 34-bed medical shelter with a harm reduction approach to care.
