About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical PCU – Full-time, 7P Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are better + together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1304 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am Department highlights: 28-bed Medical PCU department Intermediate level of care to a wide variety of medical patients at a 3:1 patient to nurse ratio. This patient population requiring specialized monitoring and interventions, includes patient diagnosis such as: diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), respiratory compromised patients that require specialized equipment including continuous respiratory interventions, home ventilation systems, and tracheostomy care, multi-system organ failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, hematology, GI Bleeds, Renal/Liver Failure, Acid-Base and Electrolyte Imbalances, and cardiac abnormalities. Medication management includes continuous and titratable IV medications to support the intermediate care population. Requirements

Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
