This 60 bed Med/Surg and Oncology unit prides itself on offering excellence in patient care. As a Model Care and designated training unit, you will have the opportunity to positively impact new nurses and be part of fostering new grads to be successful. With a 4/5:1 Nurse to Patient ratio, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. You will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Requirements

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• CA RN License
• One year RN experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
• Current CA RN License
• Current American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

• Chemo certification
• Healing Touch or Palliative Care experience preferred
• One year acute care RN experience.
• One year of Oncology RN experience
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Preceptor experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities
