Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Cardiology - 7HT | Days
About The Position
Are you on the lookout for a fast-paced and rewarding nursing environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our 30-bed 7Heart unit specializes in patients with acute and chronic disease processes, including, but not limited to, congestive heart failure patients and cardiology patients requiring diagnostic testing and state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation and other dysrhythmias. 7HT also extends care and treatment to patients suffering from other organ system diseases and supports med/surg overflow patients. Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Cardiac/critical care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
