About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is looking for a Temporary Registered Nurse to join their team on the Medical Surgery unit! This position is full time, 36 hours on Day or Night Shift available, on a temporary basis for 13 weeks with the potential of one 13-week extension for a total of 26 weeks. This temporary role pays $60 per hour. The RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patient populations by promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the patient and family throughout their hospitalization; functions as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse License, in the state of Maine, BSN preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
