About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 28-bed private Med-Surg unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing a structured care delivery model focused on assessment, execution, education, and coordination. You will collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes while serving as a strong advocate for patients and their families.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required (acute care experience not mandatory).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Monitor and evaluate patient conditions during admission and throughout each shift; promptly communicate changes in status.
• Clinical Care: Perform treatments and procedures as ordered; ensure accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications safely, monitor therapeutic responses, and manage potential side effects.
• Patient Advocacy: Respond to patient needs proactively to ensure a positive care experience.
• Patient & Family Education: Provide clear explanations regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
