Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg
About The Position
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Med/Surg department, in collaboration with the attending physician and the health care team, supports and cares for patients in all areas of the critical access hospital. Duties include: Assesses, admits, transfers or discharges patients and completes all necessary documentation. Performs basic patient care responsibilities as ordered by the physician and per standards of nursing care, considering age-appropriate needs. Evaluates the patient’s condition and response to treatments, notifying the physician, charge nurse and other care givers as appropriate.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the State of Wisconsin required.
- BLS Certification required at hire and ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in EPIC computer system
- Minimum of 2 years hospital experience, preferably high obs, progressive care, or ICU experience.
