About The Position

This 24-bed acute care unit specializes in medical-surgical, orthopedic, surgical, and trauma care, serving primarily surgical and orthopedic patients. Operating 24/7 year-round, the unit requires teammates to participate in holiday and weekend rotations. The average daily census is 24 patients, with an average length of stay of 3–4 days. Nurse-to-patient ratios typically run at 5:1, while nursing assistants maintain a 6:1 ratio. While prior experience in orthopedic or surgical care is a plus, it is not required. The unit values teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves
