About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience in telemetry monitoring, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
• Experience working in similar size or Level 1 / Level 2 trauma hospitals
• Ability to start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Epic EMR experience
• Prior experience in high-acuity or trauma hospital settings

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms
• Perform IV insertion and lab draws
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
