About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will provide care to patients with acute and complex conditions, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• BLS certification (required)
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

Nice To Haves

• TNCC certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for Med-Surg and Telemetry patients
• Interpret and manage cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
• Administer medications and IV therapy
• Perform phlebotomy and IV insertions
• Assist with oxygen therapy, including BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilators
• Follow infection control and isolation protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Respond effectively to patient emergencies
