Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current RN license in Florida or Compact State
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care, LTACH, rehab, or home health accepted)
- Orthopedic experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional bedside care to medical-surgical and orthopedic patients.
- Monitor, assess, and record patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications, wound care, and post-operative treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans.
- Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and quality standards.
- Support hospital initiatives focused on continuous improvement and outcomes.
