Essentia Health in Fargo is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our Neuro unit sees: - Stroke patients - Post-op back and neck surgeries - Patients needing a neurological work-up for dizziness, confusion, and weakness - Medical and Surgical patients include COPD, abdominal pain/GI bleeds, hernia repairs, ENT procedures, and post-op urological patients.

Requirements

• BSN or AND degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
• Contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia.
• Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
