What You’ll Do
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will:
Deliver holistic, patient-centered care by assessing health data, creating individualized care plans, and evaluating outcomes.
Collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, personalized care.
Support all aspects of the patient experience, making a meaningful impact on every patient’s journey.

Requirements

• Must have current, unencumbered R.N. license to practice in the State of Michigan
• level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a minimum of two years of college level training in nursing, BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• analytical ability to assess and evaluate patients condition and utilize the nursing process
• interpersonal skills necessary to almost constantly communicate with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team
• ability to work cooperatively within the framework of the nursing team
• ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and stressful critical situations
• ability to operate a computer.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Commitment to Trinity Health’s mission, vision, and values.
• Familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, including accepted methods for requisitioning ancillary services and working with medical staff.
• (Typically acquired during 1–3 months of orientation.)
• Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required CEUs for licensure.
• Demonstrate and articulate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of Trinity Health Muskegon.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Prior experience in a specialty area preferred.
