Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Responsible for patient care coordination on designated shifts for the HMC campus in patient care areas in collaboration with the administrator on call. To ensure quality patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives for the organization, this position provides direct operational support for the hospital on a shift basis. Responsible for overseeing a team of staff members who are assigned to work in different departments or locations within our facility based on staffing needs, ensuring smooth operations by manager schedules, assigning tasks, and providing support across various areas in our hospital.
Requirements
- A minimum of an associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing or diploma from an accredited school of nursing program
- Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing
- Maintains current ACLS, PALS certifications
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
