About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Maternity at Inspira Health is responsible for providing care to childbearing women and their newborns, as well as selected other gynecologic and clean surgical patients. The RN must demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to care for patients of appropriate age, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment while considering the age and developmental level of the patients. The RN will assess the physical and emotional needs of the patient and their family, develop a comprehensive plan of care, implement the plan, supervise others in its execution, and assess its effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire.
• Graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
• Registered nurse license required.
• BLS certification within months of hire required.
• NRP certification within 3 months of hire required.

• BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
