About The Position

The Weekend Program offers a weekend only shift schedule with enhanced compensation. The Weekend Program is a 12 month commitment to work 48 scheduled weekends in a 12 month period beginning with first shift worked with a Weekend Program Premium of $10/hr. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a surgical setting (scrub and circulate experience required).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to excellence in patient care and professional growth.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
1 year of relevant experience.
Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
When RN Clinician 2-OR has no previous OR experience he/she must successfully complete and pass final examination of the AORN Periop 101 Core Curriculum program within six months of hire.
