Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a surgical setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and professional growth.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- When RN Clinician 2-OR has no previous OR experiencehe/she must successfully complete and pass final examination of the AORN Periop 101 Core Curriculum program within six months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing duties within the Main OR, supporting surgical teams and patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
