About The Position
Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) is a Nationally recognized Pediatric Specialty Care center for Medically Fragile Children/Adolescents/Young Adults that offers 119 in-patient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF continues to be recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare, and in 2013 VPF received the highest accreditation awarded by The Joint Commission. In addition, VPF has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS). Under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse, administers nursing care to designated patients as defined by the Department of Nursing policies and procedures, the Nurse Practice Act of the State of New Jersey, and as contained in this job description. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the facility's policies and procedures. Please note all positions are Full-Time and we are not seeking Per Diem or Part-Time Candidates
Requirements
- Current NJ RN Licensure
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to communicate effectively
- One year of pediatric experience preferred but will consider other specialties
