Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (Idaho or compact state)
- Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team
- Knowledge of long-term care regulations (or willingness to learn)
- A heart for seniors and a passion for excellent nursing care
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate care for assigned residents
- Administer medications and complex nursing interventions per care plans
- Monitor and evaluate resident conditions and respond to changes
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, residents, and family members
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and charting
- Serve as a mentor, advocate, and example for compassionate care
